Shelley Bolton
Shelley Bolton, also known as Sheebo, is an abstract artist based in Memphis, Tennessee. Originally from Laurel, Mississippi, Shelley draws inspiration from Cubism, creating bold, layered compositions that challenge traditional representations of landscapes. Her work features rich textures, playful color pairings, and a dynamic interaction between line and shape, resulting in pieces that are both visually striking and thoughtfully composed.
Each of Shelley’s paintings begins with a blank canvas, often inscribed with words of affirmation or scripture, which she layers over with acrylics and mixed media to ensure her art brings joy and peace to its future home. Her work has been widely exhibited across the South, and Bella Vita is honored to showcase her stunning, expressive pieces.

Meet the Artist
Lynn Sanders is known for her expressive abstracts filled with color, movement, and emotion. Working primarily in acrylic and ink, she layers translucent washes to create organic forms that shift and dissolve into one another. Her signature “tissue paper effect” produces ethereal textures where colors bleed and merge unpredictably, reflecting the balance between spontaneity and intention.
For Sanders, painting is an instinctive process—an immediate response to the rhythms of life. Each canvas becomes an emotional landscape, alive with depth and energy, inviting viewers to connect with their own inner worlds through color, texture, and movement.
