Allison Chambers

Color and texture are at the heart of Allison Chambers’ work, with her signature impasto style created through bold palette knife strokes and oil paint. Inspired by her travels and the landscapes she loves, she seeks to give viewers a “mini vacation” through her art. From the Lowcountry to Provence, Vancouver, San Francisco, and Napa, her paintings capture the spirit of places that bring joy and tranquility.

Chambers combines rich texture, expressive brushstrokes, and playful experimentation with color, embracing both technique and the spontaneity of “happy accidents.” Her work reflects an abstract interpretation of life, layered with depth and emotion. She currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her husband, son, and five daughters.

Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Lacey Simmons is a full-time mother of five who creates from her home studio, working primarily in acrylic, oil, watercolor, and pen and ink. Her art spans from delicate watercolor feathers to subtle oil landscapes, pen and ink figures, and explorations in abstraction. Her feathers, in particular, have gained national recognition, featured in designer homes and numerous design publications across the country. With each piece, she hopes to bring rest, peace, and beauty into the spaces they inhabit, reflecting her belief that home should be a place of refuge.

The inspiration for her iconic feather series began with a profound spiritual moment in 2004, when Lacey felt God’s presence and was led to Psalm 91:4: “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge.” Feathers soon became a personal symbol of God’s protection and provision, later evolving into her most recognized body of work. What began as simple pen-and-ink drawings shared online grew into a flourishing collection that continues to resonate with collectors. For Lacey, each feather remains a reflection of faith, creativity, and the assurance of divine care.

EMYO (Emily Ozier)

Emily Ozier, known as EMYO, creates vibrant paintings deeply influenced by her Cuban-American heritage and the legacy of her grandfather, who painted scenes of the Cuba he left behind. From childhood, her natural talent was evident—her notebooks filled with drawings and sketches that captured her view of the world. These early explorations became the foundation for a career defined by color, energy, and storytelling.

Her work reflects the rhythm of family life, travel, and everyday beauty, turning ordinary moments into lasting memories on canvas. Haley Farris, from the Mississippi Delta, creates artwork designed to complement spaces with personality, tranquility, and timeless appeal. Haley began her painting career in 2012 as a side business, creating custom pieces for clients while exploring different mediums and styles. She also developed her own pottery line before fully committing to painting in 2014. Today, she continues to craft original, expressive artwork that enhances interiors and brings a sense of harmony to the spaces it inhabits.

Harris Fyfe

A Mississippi native, Harris Fyfe creates her art between Houston, Texas, and Avignon, France, where the landscapes and history of Tuscany and Provence continue to inspire her work. With an interdisciplinary degree in fine art, art history, and interior design from Mississippi State University, she combines creativity and scholarship to shape both her aesthetic and technique. Her practice reflects a deep connection to travel and European culture, blending contemporary vision with timeless influence.

Working primarily in oil and encaustic, an ancient medium of heated beeswax, resin, and pigment, Harris has developed a distinctive style defined by atmospheric compositions, layered surfaces, and a soft, subdued palette. Her paintings balance minimalism with complexity, achieving ethereal, luminescent effects that feel both contemporary and “Old World.” Often described as tranquil and dreamlike, her work has gained recognition across the South and continues to expand its reach nationally.

Jude Remedios

Jude Remedios is an impressionist and abstract artist based in Nashville, Tennessee, whose work captures the serene beauty of nature. Drawing inspiration from her upbringing in Alberta, Canada, as well as experiences in California and Vancouver, she creates vibrant florals and landscapes using liquid watercolor inks, India Ink, and a variety of tools. She has been married to her husband, Kirk, for 36 years, and together they have three adult children and a grandson, who continue to inspire and support her creative journey.

Working primarily in acrylic and ink, she layers translucent washes to create organic forms that shift and dissolve into one another. Her signature “tissue paper effect” produces ethereal textures where colors bleed and merge unpredictably, reflecting the balance between spontaneity and intention.

Born and raised in Shelbyville, Kentucky, she spent 30 years in nursing before discovering her passion for art. Shelley Bolton, known as Sheebo, is an abstract artist whose vibrant work is rooted in Cubism and inspired by the landscapes that surround her. Originally from Laurel, Mississippi, Sheebo earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mississippi before settling in Memphis, Tennessee, with her husband and family. In addition to her studio practice, she has shared her love of art by teaching hundreds of students, continually drawing inspiration from the fearless creativity of children. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group shows and is held in both private and corporate collections around the world.

Birmingham-based artist Vicki Denaburg is known for her striking use of color contrasts and layered textures, creating paintings that bring both style and sophistication to the spaces they inhabit. Largely self-taught, she views painting as the fulfillment of a lifelong dream and delights in contributing to the art world she has long admired.
