Sarah Robertson
Sarah Robertson, originally from Oxford, Mississippi, is an accomplished painter based in Germantown, Tennessee. For the past 14 years, Bella Vita has been proud to carry her artwork, watching both her paintings and family grow over time. Sarah’s work draws inspiration from Aristotle’s belief that “the aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things but their inward significance.” She primarily focuses on landscapes of the American South and religious themes, capturing both beauty and meaning in each piece.
Sarah begins each painting with detailed hand sketches before moving to her acrylic-on-canvas impasto technique, working carefully alongside her pup. Depending on the concept, a painting can take weeks to months to complete, resulting in richly layered, thoughtfully composed works. When she isn’t in her studio, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family. Her dedication, artistry, and warm presence make her a treasured part of the Bella Vita artist community.

Meet the Artist
Lynn Sanders is known for her expressive abstracts filled with color, movement, and emotion. Working primarily in acrylic and ink, she layers translucent washes to create organic forms that shift and dissolve into one another. Her signature “tissue paper effect” produces ethereal textures where colors bleed and merge unpredictably, reflecting the balance between spontaneity and intention.
For Sanders, painting is an instinctive process—an immediate response to the rhythms of life. Each canvas becomes an emotional landscape, alive with depth and energy, inviting viewers to connect with their own inner worlds through color, texture, and movement.
