Our Story
We met over a shared table in Memphis, Tennessee — a potluck neither of us wanted to leave. Six years later we are still in Memphis, still cooking for far too many people, and still arguing about whose turn it is to do the dishes.
The proposal happened on an ordinary Tuesday, on the back porch, over coffee that had already gone cold. There was no audience and no plan — just a question, a yes, and a phone call to our mothers before we had even finished the pot.
What we love most is a long Sunday: the farmers market early, a slow supper late, and a table set for whoever shows up. We are slowly collecting the pieces we will use for years — a deep serving bowl, glasses we actually reach for, linens worth ironing. The registry below is that table, started.
